What's on the Insights page?
Insights provides a deeper look at your channel's historical performance. Unlike the Dashboard (which shows a snapshot), Insights shows trends over time.
- Growth Charts — Subscriber and view count over 7, 28, 90, or 365 days
- Traffic Sources — Where your views come from: YouTube search, suggested, external, browse features, etc.
- Audience Geography — Top countries watching your content — important for CPM calculations
- Upload Consistency — Visual heatmap of your upload frequency over time
- Engagement Trends — Likes, comments, and shares over time
Cross-reference Traffic Sources with your Keyword Research data. If "YouTube Search" is low, you need stronger SEO on titles and descriptions.
