What it does
The A/B Testing Tool rotates two title or thumbnail variants on a live YouTube video at set intervals, measures CTR differences, calculates statistical confidence, and automatically selects the winner when significance is reached.
Requirements
- A connected YouTube channel
- A live video to test on
- Two title or thumbnail variants prepared
How to set up a test
1. Select the video to test from your Videos page
2. Open the A/B Testing Tool and choose Title or Thumbnail test type
3. Enter Variant A and Variant B
4. Set the rotation interval (e.g., 6 hours or 12 hours)
5. Set the confidence threshold (default: 95%)
6. Enable Auto-select winner to let VidAnalyze apply the best variant automatically
A/B tests require at least 500 impressions per variant for statistically meaningful results. Low-traffic videos may take 7–14 days to reach significance.
